When I worked at pepsi in Philly there was a 72 year old guy running a sideloader route every day. No cupcake either- legit route. It's been years, but I've heard he's still there. Smokes like a chimney. sits down every morning with his muffin and his coffee and sets his route up.

The cigarettes, muffin and coffee must be the key to longevity. Ha

There was 1 mega I had not heard back from, and thought everyone had closed up shop until Wednesday. Received an email from them today, and according to them, as long my boss will vouch for me, they may or may not have me do any training, depending on what he says. I hate to break the news to them, while I have some behind the wheel experience, I have not had to build up any stamina, and then there are the other aspects of it, trip planning, fuel planning, and the dreaded break downs that will eventually happen.
They assigned me a regular recruiter who will call on Wednesday. See if the tune changes or not. While most megas are feeders, this is one of the better ones, and is out of MO.
