Central Freight and Central Transport are 2 different companies

yep and it's a shame. Central Transport used to be a mighty big dog before Roadway bought them. They were the only LTL company that had intra-state authority in Texas. They recently bought Wilson in order to have a footing in the southeast. I believe it's run by Moyes' daughter.
Central Freight, on the other hand has always been a POS. It's run by the son of the dude that owns that bridge in Detroit.

 

You have to understand that they just operate backwards.

I pass them all the time running I-30 in Arkansas. Only thing I know about them is they’re slow as Christmas and their equipment looks like they buy used from logging companies. lol
