Sorry everyone! So, went from Joplin, 2 hours down in OK, to do a 10 hr reset with finisher (2 hours after waking up) no issue did what needed to be done. After waking up drove down to Waco, and did a drop and hook... waited almost 3 hours for a new dispatch. Finally got a new load to pick up in Wilmer headed to Joplin... so we are doing a 8/2 split I guess? Still all new to this and it seems all my backing skills I had in school are gone now? Lol I dunno hopefully all is good... will be heading back to Joplin around 7!

Very rarely you should have to do an 8/2 split. The less you do it the less dispatch will try to get you to do it to make tighter loads. I'd recommend not making it a habit when you get your own truck

If you're in wilmer you don't need to know how to back up. Nobody else there does either.

So I finished school yesterday, test tomorrow and assuming I pass head for Taylor for orientation right after test. So from what I have read of your adventures, is it better to just not go home and go from Taylor with your finisher?

It probably depends on where home is...and it definitely depends on the availability of finishers. Chat with youryrecruiter and the training dept. about your choices.
    Goodl uck on your testing!
