Hmm what else do you guys use in place of a microwave... Thinking about getting rid of mine because ever since I got my new truck it's been immensely weaker...food that says 2 minutes for example will still be ice.cold in the middle. Thinking of alternatives... Maybe just a water pot warmer or a small toaster oven so I can still have hot pockets lmao

 

toaster oven works decent, we ended up taking it off the truck though since we rarely used it. One thing ive noticed with the microwave the more stuf fyou unplug the stronger it is. SO when i use it i make sure to unplug my tv and ps4 when i use it. seems to be doing good. I honestly want to get an air fryer, but finding one that fits the wattage on the truck is difficult, even more so now on these 2020s the inverter on mine seems weaker than on my older truck.

but when i stayed at my moms, she had an air fryer, i literally fried everything and it was amazing! hot pockets, fries, burritos i mean that thing was amazing. of course she has one of those huge family sized ones but still hoping to find a smaller version for the truck

 

been chilling in fontana since last night, currently waiting on my post mates to arrive! they gave us a two day load so we are chilling for the day, set to deliver in El Paso at 2200 on the 25th. Then grabbing an empty in the El Paso yard and DH to Laredo. Not sure why but they said they really need that trailer in Laredo. Nothing special about it i think, It a 40XXX so not new.
But hey! one less load i have to scale haha

 

Look up the Ninja foodie air frying pressure cooker slow cooker combo. It's pretty interesting but pricey. But benefits of an over and all in one appliance

 

My new truck has the exact same inverter as my old truck. And only thing plugged in are phone chargers not charging half the time. And the TV which is on sleep mode. Xbox and Nintendo stay unplugged unless playing...

 

Mine has the same inverter as my old one as well, but it cant seem to handle the load that my old one did. I may try to take it to shop next time im in jopmo and see if they can test or switch it. For whatever good that'll do me haha.

 

It could be why my microwave is weaker now the day I got my new truck is when I noticed my microwave weaker. It's a 900 watt one. Maybe I can just get a smaller wattage.

 

Lunch box road pro works good too if u don’t want to use the microwave bout. 35 bucks at loves or pilots
