Almost bought an instapot. Decided that it was too heavy to carry to my truck along with my groceries.

    It's worth it though.

Been in the board since about 0630. Started my clock about 0315... If I don't get anything by 1500 I'm calling and telling them I'm starting a 10. Been up since 3 am can't expect me to wait all day for a load just to start in the late afternoon with no sleep to get through another 14...

Had our excitement for the night. Got stuck dead in the middle of a tornado warning in Pyote and Pecos Texas. Tornado wasn't the issue, we got 18000 in the box and gusts were at 80mph. Talk about pucker factor at maximum effect. Had to pull over with a bunch of other trucks and hope for the best. Even with being at a stand still felt like the truck was gonna tip. Can definitely say it's been the most exciting thing that's happened since I've been on the road.

Had a similar event at a Kansas truck stop once big lightning storm took out the power and I was parked between two trucks and it still felt like I was gonna tip

Was scary stuff, we were all pulled over on a two lane access road. But I will say my wife handled the storm like a boss!

I had one like that a few years ago in Illinois in October. That's right, tornadoes in October. Got calls from 3 friends that morning...if you're in Illinois, watch out. It was a beautiful day, these clowns were pranking me...they were right, and it came up quick. I tucked in between two trucks, back to the wind to protect the windshield. A month or two later I'm talking to a guy on the shuttle bus. He was one exit up from me and he got tipped over while he was sleeping. He had been in jopmo since then getting therapy for his injuries.

A few months ago I was in North East Missouri. Had a ton of tornado warnings going off on my people net like 20 times. Hung out at a loves while supposedly they were like less than 5 miles away. Too dark to be able to tell though.
