How often do any of you get out west of I35?

 

5 times a year maybe...every couple of months

 

KC Yard tonight. Farthest south I've been all week. No pre plan tonight...I'm on a "need to know " basis. Guess I don't need to know tonight. Probably end up picking up local loads and relaying to the yard for drivers to pick up to get home with.

I'm not mad if I have to tee upa couple of loads so the drivers can get home for Christmas.

 

How does one get groceries at Walmart while under a hazmat load without breaking rules

 

Go to the truck stop, give your money and shopping list to one of the pan handlers...I'm sorry the shot was there, I had to take it.

Go there just as you would any other time. It shouldn’t be a problem.

 

Hnmmkay. I was concerned about leaving a hazmat load unattended in a public area.

 

For an hour or so I highly doubt it’ll be a problem. I used to park at a Walmart in Indiana with a hazmat load. Woke up on morning to a cop sitting across from me. He never said a word to me.

 

All this is based on the fact that you’re probably not hauling anything too dangerous like explosives or poisons or anything.
