Well when I had my 680 automatic. What I learned was that in order to idle without having the tractor brake released, was to turn the cruise control, on bump the idle up and press on the accelerator until I got a message on my dash saying that make parking brake was set after a few beeps the engine would idle all night. Idk if they may have changed it but you could try it and see if it works.
