Exactly. Now picture that lady being an intruder and its either your 2 yr old boy or 9 year old daughter on the other side of the wall. Large caliber are just to strong for inside the home. I might carry a 40 or 9 when I'm out and about, but inside my home..i keep the 380 very close by.

Thanks for the gun pics. I love the gun and knife pics...especially the EDC gear. Everyone is different.

You know, I've found that in gun discussions people are more likely to 'show and tell' because it's a way to compare notes. I can't remember who it is that has the set of big twin revolvers named after the face cards... @superhauler? Beautiful guns.

I will get a few pics in the near future and share with you of my Dad's hand made knives. Old saw blades have great carbon in them and make a fine blade. He has 1 in particular he made years ago resembling a woman's high heeled shoe, he named it.. The Appalachian Lady. Be safe out there.

My co.pany uses safety binders, like a snap binder only you can release the pressure with your hand without it possibly snapping back at you

I have a set of 3/4 ratchet binders with t handles that i use on ADT's that come in handy to tie down the front, they never loosened up and are great in tight areas.
The key is to always keep them lubricated.

It's a must to keep a can of lube of your choice on the truck if you use ratchets. Nothing worse that trying to use a ratchet binder when the threads are rusted up.

I keep a can of wd 40 next to the chain rack in the gooseneck of my lowboy and use it after every rainfall, tried anti seize but it was too messy and dirt sticks to it.

The ones that don't come loose under stress and strain from the load and road would be the best. Its a bit like choosing a brand of truck they all have good and bad points in the end its the one your happiest with.
