My wife was with me this summer and I went to a place that didn't allow non-cdl passengers inside. We showed them her CDL-B and they let her in.

I've seen several folks walking dogs inside the Swift yard / having dogs chill in common outdoor areas with no one paying any mind in several terminals.

Maybe it's a no-no on paper but no one seems to care.

Many of them belong to O/O or L/O, different for them.

Found out from a terminal manager that it is a terminable violation of the company policy, at the minimum of a suspension and loss of you're current truck (sucks if you have a nice and good one) , for O/O and L/O have exemptions to the policy
    Violation could result in:
    Suspension
    Termination
And you could be held liable for any and all damages to the truck

SWIFT has a NO PET POLICY for company drivers, plain and simple. Only OWNER OPS have pets. I hope this clarifies it for you.

lol your post about the official company policy reminded me:

A little funny story ( to me anyway). As some may or may not know, Lathrop has or had a sizable population of kitties wandering around. Abby loves to run up on all creatures to say HI especially kitties, we used to have 5 in the house so she thinks she's kin to all things feline. Anyway, one day (every time we are in Lathrop) Abby and I go for a walk around the terminal to say hi to the kitties. Along the building just outside the FM's window is a full on hedge of bushes the kitties like to hide out in. Abby flushed out the kitties and the FM came running out telling me the dog better not hurt any of those cats. She also asked if I were an owner operator lol. I was half tempted to say "no" lol.

Which in turn reminds me back when I first wanted to put the dog on my truck I went in to the the terminal to ask about any papers I needed to fill out to take my dog with me. The DM I spoke to about it, his first question was-- 'are you and owner operator' lol

Lewiston, ID used to have a bunch of stray cats hanging out there, I haven't been there in some time, but they would have signs up not to feed them. But all of us pet owners would glady feed them anyway, just because they were cats. meow meow

    Your video is nice btw.
