Why would Schneider tell us there's P&G changes but not tell us what they are?

As for P&G I'd bet they're going the route of dedicated company as once before. No more gravy for us..

But that's not what I was referring too.

P&g intermodal loads are jam pack. Sleepers are not allow to pick them up only daycabs. They technically can put more in the container then a van

The "customer pick up" might explain why there aren't as many Schneider trailers at some of the P&G facilities that I go to regularly as there once was. That means one of my loads going home will probably become customer pick up since Wal-Mart already picks up at P&G for other DCs.

Speaking of PG no wonder they're less loads out of Shippensburg on the board... Makes sense

I'll bet the Walmart loads SHRINK too. Taget, Lowe's and any other major box retailer.

Look at Amazon they've started their own fleet.

ELD mandate in 2017 they say should raise rates, o doubt it most every Medium to Large to Mega Carrier already use ELD so the loss of capacity has already happened.

The Industry will become a Minimum wage position and never be what it was or even what it is now 10 yrs from now.

    Spot on.

Its why I'm putting my wife through school, so in 10 yrs I can drive, maybe drive, part time.

If any thing rates will fall as more companies go under, and the megas hire two drivers to one that a smaller company would hire. And they will pay those two drivers the same total salary as the one used to get.

So you want to be a truck driver huh? Good luck with that career choice in the future.
