I don't call it interesting, I am being pro-active in managing my business. I check in here once in a while to get a feel for what is going on at the driver level, what can I do to be a better shipper. I ship lots of produce, from 8 shipping points in us to all the major supermarket chains. I can't afford driver-veto or late trucks. I don't mean afford financially but afford in my time and lack of customer service. Honestly I know I pay higher than average rates, but also know there are other things we can do.

if I can get 1 idea a month on what we can do differently to make it better for drivers then visiting here is a benefit.

as far as your challenges in dropping at wm, the rules I stated are for produce so might be different for non-produce

Picked up at Cargill in Schuyler, NE yesterday. Checked in at 1pm, appt for 1-4 pm, got the call at 8 that it was ready. Haven't been doing this long but already used to it enough that I didn't bat an eyelash at that wait.
