Interesting , seems like the transportation / logistics world is getting more and more into pilotless / driverless / automated type vessels . It's come a long way since remote control things . Read in Defense news that the Navy is going to try it with some resupply ships going to seaports near australia.

 

I had to look up Cainiao the other day, I had never even heard of them. Apparently owned by AliExpress and one of the biggest shipping companies in the world.

Anyway, during my research I learned that they have little automated vehicles that venture out from their freight terminals and pull up in front of your building and call you on the phone so you can come down and retrieve your package. Imagine like an Amazon Locker on wheels. I thought that was pretty far out.
