I was headed west on the 210 Fwy in Irwindale yesterday and took the transition road on to the 605 south, from the 210 till I was several miles onto the 605 I had a 4 wheeler staying in the middle of my drawbar between the trailers. I tried speeding up and slowing down but this was one of those that decided I was not getting over for some reason.
Just past East Azusa Ave I spota CHP sitting on the side with his faithful radar gun he saw us coming with me in the 3rd lane. I figured this was it over ticketwise.
Much to my surprise he turned on all his lights pasted me then cut over to the right lane and stopped traffic enough for me to change lanes and get onto the 10 west bound.
Once on the 10 the CHP Bike cop past me, and gave me a flash of his 4-ways and a wave.
Great way to start the New Year.... He also called into my company to tell them he thought I was patient for not forcing the driver off the highway. I have to admit the thought crossed my mind a couple of times. First That a Boy from CHP in 3 million plus miles.
