Empty in Atlanta traffic is a #####... shocker. Reloading in Greenville to new century. Having some interesting discussions with dispatch about my home time next month. It’ll be me my mom and my sisters birthday next month. They are saying I can’t stay home more than 3 days. Travis is trying to see if I can stay a 4th. It’s pretty gut wrenching when you work your ### off for six weeks and you can’t stay home for more than 3 days I’m pretty disappointed. I still enjoy climate don’t get me wrong but I actually got 4 days of home time when I was at western express. To not get it here is pretty surprising.

 

6 wks out and they’re only allowing 3 days off??

 

Im guessing 3 days is the most they let you stay home?

 

So you live like a gypsy for 6 weeks and they won’t allow you more that 3 days off? #### that bs and find another job!

 

I tried to ask for 5 days since I’ll be out for 5 weeks roughly. And dispatch says they days don’t add up week after week which is hard to believe

 

I called them and they said they don't like to let home time be over 3 days

 

Wow that hometime sucks. I've been reading this thread for months and thought Climate would be a good company to look at if/when I get experience and start driving. I guess not because that hometime wouldn't work for me. I need to take a week off a couple times a year (vacations) and also 4 or 5 days at a time now and then. I want to work to live not live to work. Too bad because it sounds like you have good lanes and miles. Hopefully they work with you and give you decent time off.

 

That’s the thing I make good money. But apparently it comes at a cost.
