Mine won't do a passive unless the speed is above 50 mph.

I can tell when it needs a regen only by say getting off the freeway going into get fuel or coffee I can hear and feel the truck gasping for air like, and the Hot Exhaust light comes on telling me it must have been doing a passive right before we slowed down off the big road.
