Adding a couple more I know of.

    • Watsontown Trucking Company (Milton, PA): says they only want to make sure seatbelt is on and no phone in hand. Uses Lytx
    • RTI (Kansas City, KS) and TLI (Little Rock, AR): thermal only. Also uses Lytx.
    • Climate Express (Union, MO): will only put you on interior camera if you are a continual safety problem (i.e. lots of critical events). Uses Motive cameras.

Here at Heqaartland we have cameras, but the interior facing cam is off. Never had an issue regarding the phone, Never had them call me for hard braking, or any of the normal stuff they would call about. I have been here now since October seems like a good company. I run GP dedicated mainly SLC to Fontana or Phoenix.

No experience with driver facing cameras but I did have a dash cam with audio capability until a few years ago. My experience with audio is that it doesn't help at all, it just gives the plaintiff more ammo to use in a lawsuit situation.

I always run my own dashcam, with audio and speed and location. It has gotten me out of a few tickets in the Bakersfield Area. The judge was happy to view the videos, then dismiss both of the tickets.

I really just dont care about cameras. The curtain covers it when I park anyway. Never had Heartland ever bring up the camera, like braking events. Some things the truck does all by itself, like braking for bridges and guardrails.
