Of all the police officers killed or hurt in a crash over several years, 60% were not wearing seatbelts.
Slightly higher than the general public.
And every time a cop passes me, he's speeding and playing on the computer.
You know, do as I say, not as I do.Knucklehead, free spirited1 and Friday Thank this. -
Road facing and deaf is as far as I'll go.
Actually, road facing is a good idea but we drivers should put them in ourselves so there is no need for the company to.
That way we control it and they're only 40 bucks at Wal Mart.X-Country, foggy and free spirited1 Thank this. -
Friday and Rusty Trawler Thank this.

Started my hiring process with Lexmar here in SoCal. Have forward and driver facing cameras on internal memory drive only. No Quallcom or Peoplenet in their trucks, yet. They have gps in all trucks and trailers.
Was not a deal breaker for me. If I owned all of the equipment I would want to know where it is too. Have spoken with 10 or so drivers and none of them have ever had an issue with the cams. I spoke to the Operations Manager and he made a point of telling me they cannot monitor them live and only download the data from the cam when the vehicle is involved in a crash. He said he has far more things to fill his day than watching drivers pick their nose. -
I've taken the liberty to update the list. This includes all companies from Phantaztix's original list.
