Does anyone know of any companies that stick mostly to the NW, Midwest and NE? I'd prefer to stay closer to Canada and work. I know dedicated would be my best bet but sure there are some OTR carriers that do this. SNI, Britton (though I hear they go down to Georgia), Jim Palmer maybe? Guess if I was an owner op I could stay up North but that is a long ways off. Need to do my 1 year.

Calex Logistics might work for you. They run lots of NE to west coast and back.
Brown Line out of WA probably has what you want. -
Cmon now, the south ain't all that bad...

With Britton, they have loads that go south. But that doesn't mean you'd have to go, or at least, not very often. They really are very good at accommodating drivers wishes when at all possible. Many drivers want to go south, or south west a lot. I am,on the way from SD to CT right now. Just what you want. I have issues with headaches in high elevations. Like above 6 to 7000 feet. I let them know about it. I'm flexible with anything else they ask. Have only been in higher western elevations once in almost 5 years.
Rocknroller4 Thanks this. -
I really should call Britton and talk to them again. Thanks MrEd. How are the trucks? I know they are all autos but do they run pretty good? I guess I'm only worried about the length of training. Team driving isn't my thing but I'd do it if it means more practice.

Magnum LTD does a lot of WA, ID, OR, ND, MN, WI Midwest, NJ, PA....
Also Texas, MD NC SC Ga.... But those North loads are least popular in the winter! You would stay busy with proper planning -
I think I applied with them once and never heard anything. I've got an offer from Freymiller which I know goes all over but being based in the midwest would be ideal as well. I'd like to move out there again as the NW isn't all the great besides the scenery. The I-5 is super busy.
