Growing up I listened to my dad say we’ll go on vacation next year or we’ll do this or that someday. And he passed away before we got to all those somedays. That’s why I take time to do what I enjoy and don’t want to work 24/7.

But he’s probably not making 1900 dollars more than the average haul for that lane on dat….Just a guess. If I was hauling cheap I could afford only a -5 years old trailer too..And if he is God bless him when he buys a load when that reefer goes belly up.

Amen. Work has always been the only thing I'm good at, so it's hard for me slow down.

But I'm trying. I missed most of the first 10 years of my kids growin up, and I was home every night. But home at midnight, leavin by 6, cause I had customers to take care of. Always used the excuse that we needed absolutely all the money I could make

I'll never get that time back

I work so much I don’t even have kids to neglect. At this point I’m almost too old to have some.

Not sure how often you come on here, or hire. But my Buddy and myself run team. We’re looking to find a new company that cares about its drivers. That’s all it comes down to. We have experience in oversized, and Hazmat/Tanker.

how can anyone argue with a death man walking . I hope your handler doesn't find another carrier who is cheaper than you. your master handler would not think twice on kicking you out like trash. seriously bro. when you are a Lyon's tail, the Lyon can #### all over you and he will not even noticed.

what do you mean "care" if you meant good treatment and good pay, then your are in the wrong industry. everyone in this industry wants to make money, do you know that ? therefore, people will exploit fellow drivers. they will treat drivers like crap and pay you like slave, there is not other way companies or corporations will make money .
so, you either drive for yourself or find a company that will pay you a set salary and put your conditions.
