I don't think I understand what you mean.. could you please clarify what you mean?
Hmm.. the failed physical was on September, 11th.. I applied to Jrayl on November 1st; I figure that if Swift was going to post it they would have done so by now and Jrayl would have let me know. There again, it could be something that doesn't come up until later.. im not sure at this point. Like Chinatown said, ill just go with it and hopefully luck out. -
2 guys my brother works with failed & there license was downgraded before they got back to the yard.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Mine was downgraded in 14 minutes. I got a waiver sent in. But I'm delivering non cdl local at the moment. Like it too.

A waver? Is it like the mental evaluation that Swift had me do?
-
I would check it.. unfortunately though the court house is not open until Monday. (Its pretty old school where I live.. they don't even have a DMV, they arnt even issuing Real ID yet.) Unless you know how to check it online for Kentucky.. then I would appreciate a link please.x1Heavy Thanks this.

Both examiners I talked to one I used up north & the one here both said they are supposed to send electronic pass or fail.

It is my habit most of my life to keep one GOOD DOT Physical on hand.
It is also pounded into my habit that ALL Orientations you LOSE your Physical Card, long form etc. IF you pass the corrupt doctor, concentra etc clinics and so on, you get a new two year card which generally does not happen much anymore, they like to give out one year cards.
IF a DOT medical long form exam is a Federally ISSUED document that is BOUND to your CDL License then theoratically ALL should respect and honor that DOT card just like we respect and honor a valid license. But no. Companies enjoy their immense abuse of power just to rip em up, and see if you can get through their hoops and exercises designed to fail half the class in a few hours on day one of any orientation group. Whittle down the class numbers. Send the sick home. Out. Gone. Dismissed.
I have pounded the table for years about the so called Federally valid DOT medicals. You might as well not have one at all and show up in Orientation to get one. The companies have that much power. Because the one you did or do have today is not going to be valid a hour from now.
In my time when I was working up to 2001 in OTR stuff, You needed a Medical Card to be valid to drive OTR in interstate and intrastate commerce.
HOWEVER. THEY ARE or WERE NOT TIED or CHAINED to that CDL in those days. Don't have a DOT medical for a while? No problem. Swear out a Tier two NON Medical document at your DMV and you can hold your CDL A or B or whatever it is forever and ever. It's how we honored and grandfathered my CDL for over a decade. Even used it in part time work as a crew boss herding part time CDL Temps. Mainly half did not know shoifting and th oother half
Any time you have in my case almost enough medical work to be legal again in DOT Exams (That would be something else indeed) And theoratically can return to work either through the SSA's 9 month program that all disability holders have a once in a life time to experiment regardless of income to see if they are able to return to work without disability or binding problems in the medical world and tanking.
When I say that I learned something today, that means what it says. Sometimes the Laws Change sometimes the doctors change sometimes eeryone else engaged in medicine changed. Even the States change. Which itself raises a ginormous round a problems across the entire medical stuff to everyone. Last june the State banned valium to be filled with three families of drugs, one of which is narcotics for pain, another is muscle relazer for spass etc. And so forth.
When the state pulled legally the medicine entirely I had to spend some coin on my own to talk to someone. usually a doctor.
I had a team (Past tense.. will explain a moment) of four nervous system doctors, they confirmed issues like Carpal Tunnel in both wrists, 4th left optical palsy which does not exist as a disability anywhere until detected. Thats not something you can fix provided that you meet the visual acuity rules with each eye in CDL trucking. These 4 doctors hold the ability to prescribe the valium class medicine and defend the same against prosecution by the State because at that ime I was a pain patient and not legal to be prescribed any of the three families of medicines together to one pharmacy to fill.
As part of the June 2018 reforms the pharmacy technician or owner in particular or someone vested like say Walgreens to hold powers to support the business when necessary., One of those powers is denial of whatever medicines they deemed wrong or inappropriate from your doctors orders. YOU as the patient will not get this medicine. AND you will be ENTERED into the PMB (Pharmacy Monitoring Board) in real time as attempting to fill a banned medicine by provider so and so with script. The state medical board will write a nasty letter to the doctor ans ay why did you write this valium for so and so.
A storm in a teapot.
Most of which is kept out of sight of normal people who are sick in some ways and unaware of the manipulation going on that takes away a medicine or medicines plural that they need to live and thrive on. Without it, they either turn to illegal drugs on the street and bypass ALL medical doctors entirely until they are captured and sent to jail. Once they are in jail it does not matter to be illegal in thsi or thta. You will be illegal in a big way.20 years? HA. 50 years? Big deal. 1000 years? Forgetbout it.
It's unfortunate.Lpirtle Thanks this. -
Kentucky Real ID 2020 program.
Wait until you understand you will be required to have voluntary Soviet style travel papers to eventually cross state lines in your personal vehicle as passed by Congress a month ago but not yet signed by President into law.
drive.ky.gov | What is Changing
After Oct 1 2020 without a Real ID license, you WILL be denied Boarding for FLYING domestic UNLESS you possess either a US Passport or another Nation's Passport as a Dual Citizen, A DOD Pentagon Identification card used by active duty military etc. And also the LEOUSA program specifically for those who were Military Police, AIrforce Nuclear Strike Police and regular law enforcement along with any other work related to Law Enforcement within the 5 eyes Nation system such as Interpol for example in 10 years verifable active experience will be able to go anywhere they please for life holding that LEOUSA. As a percentage its not that big of a deal but it's there.
Kentucky had identified the NEW Voluntary Travel ID Documents ("Papers please...) for crossing state lines etc in your personal vehicle in two particular counties to be such a BIG problem that the Secretary has banned KY from Issuing any Real ID 2020 anywhere any time soon at this time. Everyone who is Kentucky Citizen will just have to wait until their State gets the real ID process system back up and running again, most likely after the two county travel ID papers is disposed of. Thats not required right now, that is something that will become required within 10 years within the new Patriot Act update and renewal since 9-11 that constantly implements new ideas at fencing off the people in this Nation.
Kentucky halts Real ID rollout as federal deadline for travelers loomsLpirtle Thanks this. -
Whelp, that definitely explains why I couldn't get a Real Id. Funny how Indiana has already been issuing Real id's for years, but Kentucky still hasn't issued it as of September. (I moved from Indiana to Kentucky in September.. I originally got my CDL as a Indiana resident.)x1Heavy Thanks this.
