Is killing my days as a company driver feel should average minimum of 500 miles per day ... Anyways when you sit at docks for 2 hours here 4 hours there u fall into the 3-400 mile days .. Complaining dont help , seems trying to get regular run or maybe asking about back hauls before the delivery is made may be option .. Maybe others has ideas hate to whine, but detention dont start till after 2 hours of sitting, and sometimes appointment is set up squirely ,then you sit 4 hours plus and get nothing .. thanks for any advice

When I was active I sit at docks a lot too. It's part of the job. If you are not finding this waiting to be something you want to do make a change. There are other driving jobs out there. I guarantee you people like @Chinatown stand ready to give you suggestions.
