I write it off anyways since I use it for phone calls and messages to dispatch. But those things are unlimited, data is not. And I'm being forced to use it because they say so, and threatened with consequences if I don't. i generally don't let others control and use my data simply because they won't supply me with more data when I run out of it. That's what happens with those brokers who require tracking apps for their loads. I tell them that my phone is Nokia 3210, and I'm happy to hear instructions on how to install their app.

I wouldn't want my company to put an app on my phone for ANY reason.

I can see where jacooooooo is coming from. Its not so much the data usage but being forced into it.There is no such thing as freedom any longer.

I need to start selling tinfoil hats
roshea, spyder7723, firemedic2816 and 2 others Thank this. -
First maybe check all the paperwork for the company you may have signed.

If it's the transflow app, then it isn't the company's app. But being forced to use it is another story. I use it, but I have unlimited data so it doesn't bother me. My previous company paid me $50 per month for cell phone allowance (without showing a receipt). If you don't want to use it, tell them your phone doesn't have a flash, and the app won't install.
By the way some posts sound, a tinfoil hat franchise would be a profitable investment. -
I looked at out of curiosity and seems it would make work easier.
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
And it takes a B&W photo which is then further compressed so it's very minimal data usage.
While I understand the "being told to do it" and I too would have a knee jerk reaction to it, using tech will make life easier for all.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.
