So first,, my son lost his wallet with personal cc, company fuel card, cdl license.
That is all fixed.
Now somehow his debit card was compromised and the bank turned it off. They told him they
will issue a new card with new #. Since he's a long haul driver, how the heck does he get a replacement debit card?
Anyone ever had a problem like this?

Yes. It will be mailed. Or if its a national chain bank, maybe he can stop in a branch to get. I'd call home bank first
Otherwiseuse the credit card or advances from employer -
As stated by @cuzzin it ask to pick up another at a branch near his location or sent to friend, family, company terminal, etc.
Debit cards are too dangerous, IMO. They put your whole bank account at risk. I'd strongly suggest a pre-pais credit card or normal credit card. -

Had something like that happen to me. I had to Zelle a worker at truck stop, than he gave me cash (I guess guy was a dealer since he was working the register but pulled out a good wand of bills) I gave him $40 for the favor, got myself diesel and headed home to pick up new card in mail.

Credit cards are much safer. Just pay the bill off each month and you won't pay any interest.tscottme Thanks this. -
Puts all your accounts at risk, and that’s real cash, not credit purchases that can be reversed.hope not dumb twucker and tscottme Thank this.
