That’s fine, I stay out of their state.
I seen no need to pay extra for their failure of business management..

Go dispute than. The E-ZPass toll for MCB is $27.89.

Somebody sued Connecticut for the truck only tolling.

I believe they won in court.

It was a violation of the commerce clause?

Seems like this would also be a violation since it is a truck only toll and not equally applied to cars. Someone find this lawyer.

Unfortunately there’s too many precedents now with all the other states. The problem is all they need is money and IFTA was introduced to make it easier to distribute fuel tax, they could do it this way, but choose to place unnecessary bureaucracy burden on trucking companies supposedly because of what someone already mentioned here, some inefficiencies of getting the IFTA money distributed. Sad thing is that other states WILL follow.

    Vampire Thanks this.

Ct Governor is a $$$$$ but I think they’re calling it a HUT like NY to get around the RI court ruling..... I’m betting a good legal team could make an argument with the RI ruling setting Federal precedent
Question is?? Who in this industry is willing to fork out the $$$ needed to do it?

Probably OOIDA. They stand up for some dumb #### now and then but they fight some good fights too. They're worth supporting.
