Considering a trucking career

You are fixing to be divorced.

 

Actually, my daughter went with me a bunch of times, I believe it, in part, helped her to be a better driver in her car. It's not so glum out on the road as it used to be. I think there is something like 200,000 women truck drivers today, back then, I remember maybe 4 or 5, and I'm not sure they really WERE women, until they went to the bathroom. You may find someone on the road. After my divorce, I met a woman truck driver ( with more miles than me) and we were together for 12 years. We kind of grew apart, she's a dispatcher now, still friends, needless to say, we had a lot in common. Total 180 from the ex.

 

I just wanted to give an update on this. I actually did have an opportunity to take a date on the road with me about two years ago. She ended up spending 3/4ths of the trip in the bunk just like your ex.

 

You didn't get the hint, did you? "The bunk, the bunk!"

 

Unfortunately my relationship with my ex was complicated at the time, left me with blue balls for the entire time I was with her for 2 years. I don't want to get into it any further than that here.
