one of their terribly loaded loads shifted on me 30 miles away from the sam's club i was headed to. the tandems were all the way back and they were overweight by nearly 4,000lbs. the morons who stacked the pallets put jars of pickles on the bottom and topped the pallets off with heavy sporting equipment. it caused a domino effect from the rear-half of the trailer to the rear. i talked my way out of a $3,000 overweight ticket. i ended up paying for an overweight permit and only $70 for the fine since i wasn't too terribly far from the destination. he checked the scales i had cleared, called the POE's, and they all confirmed when i crossed, my weight was fine.
a good way to possibly weasel your way out of something like that is to stay totally calm....even though i was about to crap bricks.

Name some of them. I've been with four companies and nobody got me as bad as Knight did. Dishonesty...leads to anger...leads to a driver being a company coolie...and the cycle continues with the next desperate driver. What a business plan, huh ? Knight, any company, could be the place to be, the envy of all drivers but why bother when people will happily take it the abuse.
Knight is the worst ! Don't even bother you'll be sorry you wasted your time.
