Another vote for getting the CoPilot app and running over the RM. I have an older, smaller Garmin Nuvi 350 (one of the few that had a "truck option") and it still works every day. I bought it circa 2007 and have NEVER updated the maps, so it gets lost from time to time, but the eta's are always pretty close once it gets back on track.

I keep both of them running all of the time. The 3.5" Garmin for eta's and the CoPilot on a 10" Android sitting lower on the dash for the updated maps (you don't have to pay for the updates), the highly customizable preferences, and the detailed street views. Plus, with my tablet, I downloaded all of the free truck stop apps, and other applicable free truck-related apps.

    lcfd15 Thanks this.

It amazes me that people actually complain about free. They'd rather PAY to have the bells and whistles included.

If you're talking aboutique me and the one20 app, I need something that I can change the over all weight of the vehicle since I run a single axle and 48 ft doing ltl. So yes, I want something that I can use as a tool where I can customize my options.

No, i'm talking the masses. That don't like copilot because it's barebones. they don't realize that's why it's cheaper. And that you can have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive brand. FOR FREE.

88 Alpha and lcfd15 Thank this.

Have had my rm tablet..zero problems in the year that i have owned it..Closest thing to any type of a problem was the exact street addy is not correct..It maybe a cpl hundred feet off or wrong side of street...Then again a pc,tablet, gps is only as good as the software builder and user..

copilot very seldom took me right to the spot in california. Usually i had to drive 200 to 500 extra feet.

Google nav was pretty good at going right to the addy though.

They just released copilot 10 for cars so I assume the truck will follow shortly

You are aware that people are talking about Co-pilot truck right? Which isn't free. (except maybe in this one20 app but I haven't tested that yet.)

The one20 app is okay. You can not customize features or routes, or alternative routes. You can not set up a profile or change from one profile pre set to another. It is a nice app for free, but I rather pay the $100 and have all of the features.
