I was just thinking of all the families at home together now. Only way they got along before. They were always in and out. Doing different things. Now? They must put up with each other. Will the death toll rise?

I have a daughter stuck in Italy right now.
Safe and well, by the way.

But she is appalled at how Americans are acting with this virus.
Hoarding food and supplies has not been seen, even in Italy. It is only here.

A large segment of the population of this country is not resilient.
They like to think they are.

    That is the left/right division.

One side thinks that everyone should be self reliant, while the other thinks that they should be reliant on everyone else.

I think a bit of both. Need to be able to take care of yourself, but also try to look out for your neighbor. Like the good old frontier days.

They are throwing some of the flu deaths in with covid19. Helping the panic.

I found a wallyworld with lots of toilet paper. And I’m not telling you where it’s at. :laughing-guffaw:

Depending on who you ask, there are anywhere from around 80 to 150 people on average that die from the flu every day in the US each has been for decades now. I have asked this question now for almost 2 weeks and can't get a straight answer. Where is the data that separates flu deaths from Covid? I honestly don't see it anywhere. I also will not accept any answer that would imply all the sudden people have stopped dying from the flu in 2020. Remember that stat! 80 to 150 people a DAY!

These deaths have not just stopped. I am not trying to diminish the seriousness of the Covid! I'm just asking for an accurate accounting of these deaths. I also don't believe this is an unreasonable request either.

One reason I have stayed quiet on these boards these past few days as it relates to Covid is, in my opinion, it is now IMPOSSIBLE to separate the politics out of it. At some point I expect all these threads to be sent to the politics forums. As for me! I'm done with the Covid as it relates to TTR!

Oh and @WesternPlains I can buy 99 rolls of commercial-grade TP for $75 bucks most anytime I want. I gave up on wallyworld 2 weeks ago!

And they’re not testing the vast majority of people with covid 19 that have either mild or no symptoms. The real number of infected or people that have been in close contact with the infected is substantially higher than official numbers show. As truckers, I would not be surprised if the majority of us have come in contact.

The panic and harm being done by the panic is far worse than the disease.
