Why would CREng. Release a driver with high blood pressure in his physical, no history of this, to drive? He died of a clot to his heart shortly after! Behind the wheel to boot!
I would really like to get some answers but I that won't happen!
I miss you my love, everyday!

As long as the high blood pressure is under control by medication, he would be cleared.

And regardless of high blood pressure history, any of us could throw a clot at any time.

I have hbp. Controlled by meds.I can only get a 1 year card.

Was the driver aware that he had hbp?

You have my sincerest condolences for the loss of your loved one.

As far as “getting the truth”, the truth of the matter is he passed his DOT physical and they put him in a truck the same as anyone else. It’s as simple as that.

DOT physicals are pretty basic. They review your health history sheet that YOU fill out (meaning it’s on you to be honest) administer an eye test, take your BP, test your urine for sugar and the doc listens to your chest. Some check for a hernia. Others do not. That’s really all there is to a DOT physical.

Point being, a DOT physical should not be mistaken for a full and thorough physical that we should have administered by our primary care physician once a year.

Yeah, not your problem to notice, or the individual to be responsible for their own heath. it's the employers problem when something goes wrong.
