From what you wrote two things:
Your dispatcher is probably sharing miles with other drivers that are also good. He or she will toss you a bone as often and they can, but you probably aren't the only good driver they have on their list.
I made a lot of money last year, but this year when I am even better and on time a lot more often, not as much. Some things change. It doesn't mean anything on you. I stay because I appreciate the exercise, it's not a bad job and I'm getting pretty checks even though I am not making as much as I did my first year rookie. I don't think I'll make as much this year now as I did my last year.
Second, those automated tools are terrible. I guess they will do good if there is no driver behind the wheel, but if there is a driver, how can you know what it's about to do. I had my stupid on guard system hard brake me for NO REASON when some trucker behind me just wanted to do an easy pass and it hard braked me. The poor guy behind me didn't even blow his horn
