I'm sure the Yanks that don't migrate are eagerly awaiting the return of the braggart Snowbirds.

knowing Crete the "bonus" will be a T-Shirt with a big red arrow pointing up with written below it: "Crete's most valuable resource"
or maybe it will be a 5% discount on the cpap machine they will try to sell you lol

I am amazed, I live in Florida, so the usually try to keep me away from there. I had a load that I had to t-call in Marietta, that went to Arcadia, FL. After that they gave me some 40 miler dropped in Marietta by another driver...then to my amazement...another load to Arcadia, FL. So I am on the way there for a 8 PM delivery tonight. Wonder if there is any parking around the Walmart DC there.....

The last time I was there it was a couple years ago and there was a small crappy place east of there and Punta Gorda west of there. Unfortunately drivers ruined the opportunity to park in the gravel lot across the street from the d/c. It's privately owned. The owner use to allow drivers to park there , but like so many Walmart stores, trashy seat-warmers dumping crap on his property caused him to lock it down.

Turns out there is a Pilot about 13 miles South (3 miles once you are back on I-75), also another truckstop and a rest area at that exit (exit 161). Had enough parking so that I could find a place near midnight. Loaded today out of Lake Wales headed for Andover, MA.

No good deed goes unpunished...cover a load for them and they send ya' to purgatory as your reward.

Heard Crete is having the ambient sensor setting turned down to 50 degrees. Should help you guys in those Freightshakers stay cool.
