Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

For $700 it better be a top of the line everything....I mean high end refrigerator/freezer for that...Crete seems to be running one heck of a scam...first $900 for cpap machine now this....buyer beware....

 

The last time I was in Lincoln they were selling the refrigerator for $400

 

I called today and was told that there are only 400 watt inverters allowed and to have anything larger a medical reason is needed. So i dont know why i am hearing different from drivers. I sure would like an inverter for a microwave.

 

My info is from the break room so....Picked up a new 229 trlr today,with the landing gear on the driver side,no air ride,we are "the most valuables"but not that much.

 

The last NEW air-ride trailers I saw before I left over there were the low 218's(red trailers with white advertising)...since then, all the way thru the early 221's were spring ride...unless they came to their senses and changed back.

 

the new freightliners have built in 1250 watt inverters

 

I've been told they are double bunk. At least a few are automatics. A few may have a camera. Truck Assignment at Crete/Shaffer is like a box of chocolates............
