I can concur. In orientation right now and the quality is few and far between. Nevertheless, I still give Crete a 8.5 on a scale of 1-10.
So far, so good!!

Not me BUT I admit I am not doing good with their “CAN” messages I send. Very confusing, I’m used to the old fashioned rate con on my cell. Never did a can can before and I’m definitely screwing it up. Oopsie
They assume everyone understands it. I sure don’t.

 

Then I get more messages and it’s totally confusing. Can’t focus on the load. I’m focusing more on the can can silly thing.

 

IF any Cretan wants to put the can messages in simple steps for me it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance and I’m sure Lincoln will thank you as well. lol

 

I turn the volume down while I’m driving,so I don’t have to hear “a new message has arrived.
Only when I see the urgent orange icon,do I stop.
I need to get to a terminal to have the People net installed.

 

They are canned messages. Like prepackaged. You get used to what's required. In the beginning I free formed everything and my transition asset manager let me know the number message to use. Don't let it stress you out or prevent you from communicating.

 

Shaffer driver here. We use the same Qualcom messages as Crete. I don't particularly want to spend the time to try to explain ALL the canned messages, but if there are any specific ones that are confusing you, I can try to break them down.

Out of the list of canned message templates available for us to use though, we might use 1/4 of them.

This does not apply to peoplenet. I don't have that.
