First time picking up at Hobby Lobby DC Oklahoma City. I don’t know if it was a typical day or because of the holiday but they were fast, friendly and a nice change from a lot of places.

Opti idle....
What am I doing wrong. High range and cruise then opti idle light comes on. I go in bunk and set temp. Should I be doing anything with the AC knobs in the front OR back.
The problem is, I wake up after 2/3 hrs and it’s 80 degrees in the bunk and I’m sweating. I like it cold so I set temp in bunk @ 61 degrees.
What am I doing wrong???

61 ?
That’s way too cold for an air conditioner. -
You are setting temp on the big control panel, or the small one? One is for the heater, the other for a/c.
Also, make sure that the cooling option is set on the thermostat. There is an option for heat on the cooling thermostat, and it is easy to hit it by accident.
Also, be sure you have temp on dash a/c control turned to full cold.
I run my system with air recirculation on, so I have two amber lights on the dash controls, and one in the sleeper.Last edited: Sep 6, 2018
Reason for edit: More info. -
I haven’t slept more than 5 hrs a day without it becoming real hot in here.
I set cruise, I put shifter in high range. I put AC knobs on the front then I go in the back and turn on AC unit to 61. I also put knobs on back to AC. The truck will stay good for only 4/5 hrs. This is rediculous. -
Did you call breakdown ?

On the thermostat itself, there are several buttons. One is a mode button that changes the thermostat from cooling to heating mode.
This setting is completely separate from the cab or sleeper rotary control knobs.
