It's the hiring practices...we have a 100% automated fleet (and I hate it) but my company requires experienced drivers, and don't train people to drive.
-
A/service done last week at Mechanicsburg/Crete shop ..now this happens today
radioshark Thanks this. -
Looks like a def problem...im betting the def filter is clogged at minimum..i bet crete wont do anything more than minimum to try to fix it...just like all fleets
-
And the engine temp..doesn't go above 145...no matter if you drive it all day
-
Might have filled up with bad DEF... might be a sensor...or one of the valves might need cleaned up.
You're gonna be getting a different truck because it's going to sit at freightliner for a week minimum if it's not just bad DEF. -
This happens more than you’d think.
I worked for a company that had so many trucks out due to bad DEF that they made drivers buy it in the boxes instead of filling up at the pumps. -
Looks like Crete/Mechanicsburg shop....put the thermostat in backwards.....which made regen system malfunction ..plugging up def filter...which then burnt up some electronic sensors..still waiting for shop to make repairs at Gary, Indiana
-
Ewwww Gary, ick.
Did you find a nice hotel to stay at? -
Crete sent me to Motel 6.....will probably be here for at least a week..tucker Thanks this.
