I do not see a bridge height sign there, only a flasher. Wonder if the flasher is working?
Probably signs farther up the approach road, but if that flasher isn't working, that bridge is barely too short, and I can easily imagine somebody thinking they could squeak under it.
In fact, I bet the truck would clear it if it dumped the auto levelers, and trailer brakes, then dragged it through. Barely. 13'3" bridge?
EDIT: Wow, maybe not. Trucker Path says that's an 11'1" bridge. I am amazed that the truck managed to get that far underneath it without peeling the trailer roof back like a sardine can.

Then you have to drag the trailer with the brakes set, but it's better than skinning off the trailer roof if you get a little stuck.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -

I'm thinking about applying for this company. Currently getting about 12,000 miles a month at .42 cpm. Its laid back and equipment is good. But I can't continue working here knowing Crete can pay me 10 cpm MORE! I notice a lot of you are reporting around 10,000 miles a month, which is roughly $5,200... $160 more a month... is schaffer a better bet than dry loads? Have you guys noticed freight slowing down? Mileage dropping? I'm worried about moving over and only getting 7-8,000 miles a month.

My last three weeks have been 2800, 2600, and 2200 miles.
When I was an OTR company driver for shaffer, I averaged 2800-3000 miles a week, but I was very aggressive (and polite) about keeping myself pre-planned, as well as working to deliver and pick up early whenever possible, whenever a customer would allow it.
Then I was invited to a drop and hook reefer account and started averaging around 3200 miles per week.
I bought my truck and went o/o for Shaffer, on the same account, and kept hitting 3200-3300 miles a week on average.

If your company has been fairly solid for miles up until the Coronavirus crap, and that's your whole reason for wanting a different job, i suggest you try to ride it out. Some states are starting to open up again.
For example, I am taking 22 tons of sour cream to Dallas from Columbus as we speak. It's not an account load, but there are two account facilities close to Dallas, and I expect they are getting ready to start shipping again.Jarhed1964 and Bud A. Thank this. -
