Crete has got to be worrying about those high mile trucks. They know the value of them will drop a lot if they don't have significant mfg warranty left on them at the time of resale.

They also know that with the maintenance deferral program they run, those trucks will cost them quite a few extra pennies to keep on the road if they get past 500k miles.

 

That's like a New York City 11'3".

I always get the directions off my Peoplenet,and compare them to my Garmin DEZL,while researching the options on GOogle maps.
I never,ever follow the phones GPS.

 

Bumped up to .46 cpm now. Per diem is .13 cents. So I'm making .33 cpm. But I would rather do what I like with my money than the government (invest for retirement). I decided to stay for now. That may change in January. For now, I'm on track to gross over $70k if I stay consistant... if I make less than that, its my fault for being lazy... boss keeps pushing me to do 4000+ miles a week.

 

Your company is doing you a favor splitting your perdiem off your pay like that - it allows you to get the perdiem pay, and NOT have it count towards your taxable income. Even if they charge you 1cpm for the convenience it's worth it.
