Are you kidding?!? This is driving rates up.

Only in trucking could the laws of supply and demand work in reverse. Reduce the number of carriers allowed to big based on scores and we will get better rates.

 

Has anybody else been abused by this new system? In 6 months i have had a few "roadside checks" as the officers put it any no violations haved been found.
When i get hauled in to my safety officers desk i am told i have been pulled over for speeding and overweights at scales when i know that was not the case.
If i was in violation I would have a ticjet to fight but with this there is nothing i can do. I wouldn't mind so much if it was true, but it seems the officers are making excuses to pull trucks over for spot checks and its affecting my record.
