I think we need more government to figure out very important issues such as this. Without the FMCSA were would we be as a nation ?

they just don't want you to jabber-jaw with someone perhaps on your cell phone while you fuel up both tanks, and totally forget what you are doing.

what i do is, start one side slow, and do the other side faster. by the time the fast fueling is done, i have plenty of time to get to the other side and finish fueling. usually i fuel the side that is away from the pump, fast, the one next to the pump slow, so when i get back to it, i can read the pump totals.

but that was when i did fuel, we get onsite fueling now.

I’m not sure about other provinces, but in Ontario it is illegal for the master and the slave to be pumping at the same time. I thought there was a problem with my pump because every time I tried to start the slave side the pump cut off, and when I went inside to inquire about it I was informed that it is a provincial law. I had to wait until the master side was finished and then go finish the other side.

That has happened to me two times I was at the pilot in MA on 84 I thought the pumps were messed up. I know a few years back they didn't have any holders on the handles so you would have to hold each pump by hand to fuel.

The green book says you have to be in attendance of the fueling process.
