DAC report

    Is there a way, short of repeating the same story over and over again, to preemptively enter a statement explaining WHY I am planning to leave/have left an employer so future prospective employers can see it?

    I am planning on leaving my current employer due to a number of issues, the biggest of which include coercion into driving a vehicle already placed out of sevice(not using the exemption allowing it to be driven to a repair facility) for mechanical/safety reasons and driving in violation of hours of service regulations. I would want this statement to appear on my DAC and connected to a particular employer for a period of 10 years. I would like the statement to include the fact that I actually filed a complaint with the FMCSA for this issue.

    No, DAC is used by employers, not employees.

    If an employer reports something that you do not agree with you can file a dispute with HireRight and they may or may not remove it depending on if the company can backup their clam or you can prove it wrong.

    As stated ya, pretty much DAC is a one way street us drivers don't have any say on adding comments or anything like that on them...

    I think you said before that your current company is either one truck or a couple right? It's almost a 99% chance they don't use DAC... I would be shocked if they did...

    I doubt they even know what a DAC is, much less actually use it. But, I want a statement because I really enjoy repeating myself...... not.
