Honestly if I had known he might do that I would have backed off for him. Where he was was indicative that he was committed to I-55 South. I mean he was way past the point of no return and at that point I poured on some speed as I was only going 50 up to that point in the 55 zone. Bear in mind I was hauling HazMat so I was extra careful even moreso than I am every day out there.

Ya but what happens when you dont merge when you could have and somehow a 4 wheeler decides to sneak in that lane?

What 'stunt'? I did everything right here and this guy tried to bully his way into my lane. Just so happened to catch it on cam and post it. You guys sure love to backseat quarterback my vids lol

That's OK. I can see him on my sight side and have options rather than merging early and having him sneak up on the blind side getting sqirrelly or even purposely crashing into the side of my trailer and jumping out with a fake neck injury for an easy insurance claim.

Were these the comments about your other videos?
why would you drop a trailer along a curb and not in a parking spot?
and why climb up on the catwalk to get to the other side of your truck?
why put the hoses in the filthy hose hangers?
I still have a lot of grease on my 5th wheel after 30,000 miles and a LOT of drop and hooks.

I was bobtail last week and the truckstop was almost empty but the curb parking where I could have parked was all full of trucks with trailers, so I backed her in a spot and spent the night.

I did the job over by the curb so people wouldn't look at me funny while 'talking to myself' in the video lol. A little privacy if you will.

I'm not going to say you did anything wrong here. I'm not a fan of waiting until the last second to merge. But hey, no real harm and no real foul. Not sure I get your logic there but who am I to judge? What I don't see is a dart driver trying to "BULLY" his way in. He turned on his signal, saw the lane was blocked and canceled it. From the video it looks like he went ahead and took the ramp he didn't want vrs trying to slam on his breaks. Good for Dart! As for a dart driver being a bit lost? Probably was, might have what 3-6 months exp. maybe a year or two heck I don't know. But I'll give him all the credit for taking the wrong ramp INSTEAD of trying to bully his way in.

You're right he wasn't trying to bully his way in. And I do give him miles of credit for calling no joy on I-40 and committing to I-55 for the go-around. I just didn't expect that and for the thousands of hours of boring no-event cam records, finally caught something of almost-interest and posted it lol.
