    I saw it too but wasn't sure it was a coil. If he had a regular flatbed not a step, it could had been fatal

    First time watching I didn't notice the metal coil. I had to watch a second time and you see it at the last minute go off the right side. Thanks AKE

    About 41.6 seconds in is when the driver ruined his shorts. That's when the brake lights first come on.

    Holy crap, I missed the coil until it was pointed out here. I couldn't figure out why the 4x4's at the step looked like kindling after impact. You can see the coil break loose in the mirror plain as day. Wow.

    You can tell the moment the coil busts loose because the truck jerks again after the initial impact. That coil must have some weight to it.
