Dashboard revitalization

I’d be inclined to start with new or replacement panels and have them professionally painted.

Quite a bit of work to use worn panels to begin with.

 

Just seen the Rockwood page . . . Me want NOW!

 

I’ve got a t660 in the fleet with an entire Rockwood dash and door kit and if I remember right it wasn’t that expensive. It’s a 2013 and now looks like a luxury car. I’ll try to get pictures soon. I would add it to my W900L but they don’t make it for my model year.

 

Just so you know I did it in my boat. There is a paper like the ones used to wrap vehicle's with advertisements comes in different colors and patterns and all kind of stuff very easy to use and will last 8-10 years in your dash

 

I took the panels out and removed the wood grain. They use some nasty sticky glue that was a huge pain to get all the residue off. Had someone cover the panels in vinyl. Some of the gauges are a little bit loose without the thickness of the wood grain panel

 

Paint would maybe be better but a little more time and work. There's just a few tiny places like around the dash vents the vinyl didn't wrap around very good and it's peeled just a little
