The are the ones who see firsthand how much the rates increased and how long they have remained at the level they are. They know when is best to dare to take some of it for themselves.

Most likely Truckstop.com will follow suit.

That is $625,000 gross on an annual basis. one man one truck?
And someone is complaining about a $26 monthly increase on a key part of their business?

And I'm sure that almost all of DAT employees are still working from home. So this increase is nothing more than a raise for those at the top of the DAT food chain.

Softwares dont write themselves, web based services need to rent a server to handle traffic which need upkeep and upgrading by humans.

So you think DAT is immune to the market pressures everyone else is facing with rising costs on everything and not being able to find good help?

RedForeman and Studebaker Hawk Thank this.

Nope, just wondering how I can roll all the increases in services I/we've endured onto somebody else as well.

Have to be aggressive on rates but if you notice rates are trending with inflation. $3 a mile is the new "$2 a mile" and has been for well over a year now.

The word for this is INFLATION! Even the Dollar Store is blowing their $1.00 price cap. Just wait until they ram through the $5 trilllion, "infrastructure" plan - it'll be cheaper to wipe yourself with dollar bills than toilet paper!

They have negligible market pressures compared to us. They don't make or build anything.
I don't think the Inflation has been 26% for the last year and a half but who really knows.
They just have the opportunity and use it.
That's natural and normal. It would have been different at the time when the rates drop to 2 dol per mile or below everywhere.
Anyone can cancel at any time.
