Yeah, but the original post was an article in which "SCIENTISTS" expressed surprise that a deer ate meat.

I was unaware deer are omnivores. I never see them gathered around roadkill, but I HAVE seen them repeatedly defoliate my mother in law's hedges.

Nature stays outta MY house, I stay outta HERS....

Eating the placenta is not the same as eating a chicken leg or a person leg.

Chickens aren't herbivores.

Male bears will eat the cubs.

 

Eat meat is eating meat. A placenta is also not a pine tree or grass.

Its not surprising to you or i. But go tell someone that believes bears are cute and cuddly. And bambi is an actor in a movie. And hunting is bad. Go tell those people that are so disconnected with nature, they'll be amazed at my previous post.

 

I grew up in the 60's and 70's and you couldnt keep us indoors! Morning to dark in the woods.
Todays kids are "EWWW... a bug!" types, that wouldn't last a day without their phones.
