Although being green is a good idea this is not the time for extreme measures. Not enough trucks,no warehouse space,no warehouse workers, fuel is liquid gold. I could go on

    That
And it took us 100++ years to get here. How about we back peddle a little slower instead of reversing everything in a short window and get all the world onboard not just us?

If we had a real government not a dance instructor there could be hope. The 8.5 billion he is giving away is ridiculous. He and freelancer are clueless. They should tax greedy companies like Loblaws and Chinese (oops, Canadian tire)75 % of the excess profits. I am a capitalist but to allow gouging of the public is wrong. Much of our inflation is due to this price gouging.Maybe Trudeau should cancel the carbon tax and take the gst off fuel. Instead we will have further inflation and then a recession. The worst of both worlds. My 2 cents worth.

The same reason we're shipping out USSA oil to Europe right now instead of using it here at home and begging the Middle East for theirs.

I don't mind helping Europe in their time of need since my roots are buried there but it really comes down to Globalism and greed.

U.S. Monthly Oil Shipments to Europe Climb to Highest Since 2016

That seems a contradiction of terms. One goes with the other.
Charge more for your services and the circle goes on.

You do know those are different types of oil and our refineries simply aren't setup to use what is exported, don't you?

This 100 percent, same as up here in Alberta. We don't have the refineries so we sell oil at a low and buy it back refined at a premium apparently economics 101 to governing bodies.

But taking the time to see politicians net worth on governments salaries and it becomes crystal clear

BVD: 130 Delta Park Blvd, Brampton, ON

Petro pass: 6125 Ordan Dr, Mississauga, ON L5T 2M7

These two places I have stopped in the last 3 weeks had no def at one point. I never really understood why until I read this thread.

Pushing all these def crap and yet there is a shortage of it

    Another excuse to raise prices
