So im assuming they dont want drivers taking too many days off or else the reefer is going to be sucking up fuel. 34 hour reset to two days off.

Alright sounds like potential to make some money. Do they pay per diem?

If you need more than 2 days I think you gotta just let them know and you may go home empty or with a dry load or deliver in Vegas. If your reefer tanks full and you take two days off it might burn 1/4 tank in winter and obviously a little more in summer(in Vegas).

They never mentioned anything about per diem so I don’t know to be honest.

There’s definitely money here. You start at .45 and if you average I think 11,500 miles a month you’ll make .52 the following month. It’s very easy to get that average. I’ll have 2800mi this week and 2800-3000 next week and both are very easy weeks.

Well my load from Omaha to Stockton had a little hiccup. Load had to be completely re worked to weigh out legally. Put me delayed 4 hours. Still got unloaded today.

next load that picks up down in Buena Park doesn’t load until Wednesday morning. I’m running on recap hours so at least I’ll get a 34 and $75 layover pay. Delivers Friday in Denver which won’t get me home this weekend as planned, but I should be able to at least stay home in Vegas Wednesday night in route to Denver.

Sounds like you picked up a heavy meat load. I heard denney does a lot of meat. Did you have multiple stops.

Buena park ca...parking is nonexistent. I would always hang out in castaic or flying j whittier ca if i had to enter los angeles ca.

It was actually an amazon load going to a company that supplies stuff to military bases and ships. It was literally a mix of everything you’d find in a grocery store. 99% of the time we haul some sort of meat out of Denver, then produce or general freight back to Denver.

The customer in Buena Park I’m able to park there.

    Update time!

Got in a quick 34 in Stockton before overnighting to Buena Park to load for Denver. Stayed at home in Vegas a night in route to Denver. Dropped that in our yard yesterday afternoon and camped out until my next load was in the yard. That’s another plus, most loads out of Denver the local guys bring loaded trailer to yard so you don’t have to live load much.

Headed out at 0330 this morning(Saturday) on a 3 stop run. 1 stop in puyallup, wa Monday at 0400 and 2 in clackamas, or at 1100 and 1300. I think it’s about 1500 miles and $90 in stop pay.

This weekend I’ll post parts of my first settlement. Between mileage, drops, detention I averaged .50 a mile(base pay .45), base pay should go up to .52 in 2 weeks!

Where do you park in las vegas. The ta off of dean martin drive is always packed.

Wild wild west truck stop charges $10 a day now to park. I know a few places with street parking around the industrial areas.

That sounds like a sweet run. Lately ive been running a lot of short haul with my company.
