I think part of the problem is that these O/Os get the good runs. I talk to a lot of the Somalis, they do mostly dedicated runs. What they have going for them is that they live in two key CEVA locations. Sacramento, CA & Columbus, OH.

One I met in Sacramento, CA told me he was working for a friend of his getting a team pay of .44 CPM. He was making less than us but it was a Monday - Friday run.

We company drivers I think are around so we can do the short runs that those guys won't do. The only incentive being the 4,700 mile guarantee.

Since you posted I've combed thru all internet search outlets and still haven't seen one thing posted on that overturned USX truck.
That would have been right at North Platte, NE,, correct? Anyhow, just thought I'd let you know.

    Hey truckerduo,

Hubby and I are almost done with cdl school and looking at different companies.

I know you are pretty happy with your company since getting on the dedicated routes.

Do you know about how many miles per week a team averages at USXpress? What about with dedicated? Does it take time to get on with a dedicated route?

Did you and wife get the team bonus?

What speed are your trucks goverened at?

    thanks

Congratulations on being almost done. The fun soon begins !

Teams I think can do between 4,000 to 6,000 miles a week.

Trucks are governed at 65mph. We got the bonus.

    jungledrums Thanks this.

Can a team go dedicated right after training, or gotta wait for a while?

That's great. I'm seriously considering USXpress!
