There is the problem they are pulling in the money why not pay what is right. They want to maintain this type of top of the line equipment image but your pay doesn't come close to it. Need they be reminded your equipment isn't going to be top of the line going down road with a just getting by driver. May TMC can "hut to it" on paying more.
Did anyone see this about TMC?

The problem there is what do they do when rates do go back down? You can't bump the pay up decent when rates go up and then cut pay when the rates go down, you'll be left with no drivers at all. I don't know what their pay looks like but you don't see them running around with freight hanging off the deck or combines run into low bridges so they're certainly not hiring bottom of the barrel. To me the only way that happens is at least have half decent pay.

Haven't you noticed lately NOTHING is about race, or even mentions it... Unless the mention of race will cause a COMPLETELY REASONABLE and APPROPRIATE situation to APPEAR as being racist.Gearjammin' Penguin, Tall Mike, Texas_hwy_287 and 6 others Thank this.

We had a customer at the crane company where I worked that had a few Jamaicans that wore these. OSHA never said a word.

I just looked at their company site from the looks of it they percentage. We know how that goes percentage of what. You are right you don't see them wrapped around non moving objects. I did see one myself in my neck of the woods a while back in PA.
There is a Pilot exit 77 on I-81. If you miss the entrance & you make the mistake of turning on the street (they put modified jersey walls there). TMC was hauling a load of drywall, didn't pay attention (sign there no trucks) caught that jersey wall & twisted that trailer aluminum of course. It looked like it was going to lay down if it was steel probably would have. For them glad it didn't but the trailer was going to the recycling plant
. Driver might have had to go the remedial school (unemployed)

I’m going to Schneider. -
TMC should've just come out with a dress code. They can do that if they want and drivers that don't want to adhere can leave. I know I would fire some drivers if they walked into my terminal looking like they do at truckstops.
Tall Mike, nredfor88, Crusader66 and 2 others Thank this.
