I saw this again at Live Trucking dot com. He was rear ended, and the truck that hit him caught fire, and burned 1/2 of his truck.
Didn't see that coming (dash cam)

Who slammed into him?
-
Looks like the seat breaks away and he slides out of the seatbelt. Probably whacked his head into the steering wheel on the way down.
-
No doubt my seat rocks from cheap mounts

1st post updated with link and there is a lot of pictures and all the info.
tucker Thanks this. -
Man....that driving facing camara really help prevent accidents....or blame fault of the driver for improper seatbelt. Safety probably going to talk to him how to make sure the belt "click" in.
Btw the belt on the cascadia is hook to the frame of the seat. The bolt came loose on mine -_- so I can understand how his came out -
"Female passenger car driver - dead"
Send that trucker to prison. No parole.S M D Thanks this. -
They use loctite on them now, it's a pita to take the seat out without a pneumatic tool.

Mi
Mine is bolted directly to the floor, mine is a 2016 Evo. Got a bolt that keeps it on the frame of the seat though and that portion is weak. -
Not much to do in that situation but take it up the rear. Maybe if he saw it coming he could have got to the right but if it was a place he couldn't see back too far there wasn't a chance. Hope the idiot that did that gets jail time. There's no excuse for that but gremlins put a brick under my brake pedal (probably won't hold up in court due to WW2 pilots hunting gremlins to extinction)
